| Sewer Rates |
Sewer rates are based on the customer's water use.
RESIDENTIAL WINTER RATES
For water used during the months of November through May, sewer bills are based on the amount of actual water used.
RESIDENTIAL SUMMER RATES
For water used during the months of June through October, sewer bills are based on the lesser of the actual water used or the average water use for the prior months of November through May being the Average Winter Consumption (AWC). Until an AWC is obtained for the customer, billing will be based on the actual water consumption.
COMMERCIAL. INDUSTRIAL & BUSINESS RATES
Commercial, industrial and business customers are billed on actual water use or if it can be determined that an appreciable amount of water used in their business does not reach the sewer system and can be measured, a meter may be installed to measure the un-sewered portion and the sewer billing will be adjusted to the actual amount discharged to the sewer system.
